Hosted a group from 中国科学院西北生态环境资源研究院 (Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, NIEER) and conducted a field trip to several sites in Australia.
Sites visited: Rubicon Water, Goulburn-Murray Water, Goulburn-Broken Catchment Authority, Yarrawonga Weir, and Hume Dam. We stayed at Shepparton and Albury - very beautiful cities!

The Western Sichuan Plateau offers spectacular scenery with its mighty rivers and diverse landscapes. An incredible journey!
Published my first paper in Water Resources Research. The paper titled "QRF4P‐NRT: Probabilistic Post‐Processing of Near‐Real‐Time Satellite Precipitation Estimates Using Quantile Regression Forests" presents novel approaches for probabilistic post-processing.

Completed my PhD thesis proposal defense and midterm examination!

Published my first paper in Geophysical Research Letters. The paper titled "New Insights Into Error Decomposition for Precipitation Products" introduces a novel four-component error decomposition framework.

Locations: Namucuo Lake, Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Mt. Chomolungma, Yarlung Zangbo River.
Altitude: 5000m+ at the southwest border of China (Ali region).
Team members: Prof. Ye, Prof. Di, Yahai, Huiqing, Yunfei, Yinuo, Mei, Zhenwei, Xingtian, Xueyan, etc.
High altitude sickness encountered. An unforgettable journey!
Completed an 8-day scientific expedition to the Sanjiangyuan Region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, studying the headwaters of the Yellow River, Yangtze River, and Lancang River.
