Scientific Expedition to Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Completed a 12-day scientific expedition to the southeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Rivers studied: Min River, Yalong River, Jinsha River, Nu River, Lancang River, Yarlung Zangbo River.

Team members: Prof. Ye, Prof. Gong, Yunfei, Yinuo, Qiaoqiao, Zhenwei, Wenjuan, Huiying, Jiaqi, Xiaoying, Hao, Yiying, etc.

The Western Sichuan Plateau offers spectacular scenery with its mighty rivers and diverse landscapes. An incredible journey!

First Paper in Water Resources Research

Published my first paper in Water Resources Research. The paper titled "QRF4P‐NRT: Probabilistic Post‐Processing of Near‐Real‐Time Satellite Precipitation Estimates Using Quantile Regression Forests" presents novel approaches for probabilistic post-processing.

PhD Thesis Proposal Defense

Completed my PhD thesis proposal defense and midterm examination!

Published my first paper in Geophysical Research Letters. The paper titled "New Insights Into Error Decomposition for Precipitation Products" introduces a novel four-component error decomposition framework.

Scientific Expedition to Southwest Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Completed a 13-day scientific expedition to the southwest of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Locations: Namucuo Lake, Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Mt. Chomolungma, Yarlung Zangbo River.

Altitude: 5000m+ at the southwest border of China (Ali region).

Team members: Prof. Ye, Prof. Di, Yahai, Huiqing, Yunfei, Yinuo, Mei, Zhenwei, Xingtian, Xueyan, etc.

High altitude sickness encountered. An unforgettable journey!

Scientific Expedition to Sanjiangyuan Region

Completed an 8-day scientific expedition to the Sanjiangyuan Region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, studying the headwaters of the Yellow River, Yangtze River, and Lancang River.

Team members: Prof. Ye, Prof. Di, Yahai, Huiqing, Dongxian, Jiaojiao, Haiyan, Xingtian, Ning, Xiaoxiao, etc.
